EFT (Emotional freedom technique) is a therapy for Emotional Wellbeing.
EFT often known as 'tapping', is a very simple but effective tool. We tap on meridian points on the head, body and hands, use simple set up statements, affirmations and talk therapy to help to calm daily anxieties and stresses.
Tapping can be used for anxiety, stress, depression, PTSD, grief, relationship issues and anything else with an emotional charge Children, teenagers and adults can benefit from tapping as a self regulating tool. Tapping is a great tool to use at home, in schools and the workplace. We can move from chaos to calm after only a few minutes of tapping.
Tapping can be used for emotional and physical pain, it is such a diverse tool. It is starting to be realised that physical and emotional complaints are often linked. Sometimes when we don't release our emotions and stresses, they can ping out in the body as complaints such as back pain, shoulder pain, neck pain etc for any of us that have just had a pain start when we haven't actually hurt themselves we can often start to question where it came from? These pains can often be decreased or released or from the body using EFT , I have helped people again and again release pain, and their pain is often linked to recent grief, stress, trauma or anxieties.
The science is now available on EFT and there are well over 100 successful trial papers out there. Dr Peta Stapleton in Australia has conducted many of the trials in Australia and has recently produced a book called the 'Science Behind Tapping' to highlight all the latest research!
